Mary Campbell
Principal Financial Planner

Mary Campbell has a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Planning and Accounting and is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and CPA Australia. Mary has over 12 years professional experience working for a number of leading Ethical Investment companies including Australian Ethical Investment and Superannuation, Uniting Financial Services and Ethical Investment Services.  Mary is a Certified Responsible Investment Financial Adviser and member of the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia (RIAA).
 

Mary is passionate about supporting our community and environment.  She supports many charities and received a medal for her contribution to the Motor Neurone Disease Association of NSW.
 

Mary enjoys financial planning because she is able to help people achieve their dreams and align their investments with their personal values.

Di Green
Client Services and Administration Officer

Di’s role includes research, administrative support and client services.

Di brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role with over 20 years’ experience in the finance and ethical investment industry.  Di has an eye for detail and continuously improves processes and efficiency at Gold Leaf Financial Services.

Di has a kind and understanding approach to assisting clients with any queries.  Di enjoys talking with clients and, as with Gold Leaf Financial Services, the focus is on client values and their goals, which means naturally these conversations cover what clients want out of life, not just what they want financially.

Di is based in Brisbane and loves music (from dance to heavy metal), gardening and making all sorts of things for her beautiful granddaughter.

Dave Paton
Administration Assistant

Dave is the administration assistant at Gold Leaf Financial Services. This includes client administration and assisting the adviser with client reviews, reports and responding to client enquiries.

Dave has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and has been a CPA for over 10 years. Dave has over 10 years involvement in finance and accounting including Ethical investment, with over 2 years each at Australian Ethical Investment and Future Super.

Dave has been a supporter of environmental protection for many years, including volunteering with the Sierra Club in Montreal and involvement with the Hepburn Wind Farm. Dave enjoys travel, music (all sorts) and skiing.

Melanie Lakeman
Technical Adviser and Senior Paraplanner

Melanie helps to prepare advice documents, to help clients understand the financial advice that is being provided specifically for them.  With an in depth understanding of legislation and technical financial planning strategies, as well as the ability to communicate in an easy to understand professional manner Melanie prepares high quality financial plans for clients.

Melanie has a Bachelors Degree in Commerce, majoring in Financial Planning, and she has worked in the financial services industry for 12 years. Throughout her career, Melanie has worked for companies that value ethical and responsible participation within the financial planning industry.

For Melanie, working for a company with their heart aligned with their practice is vital. Living in a compassionate, respectful and sustainable manner is important to Melanie, and being able to fulfil her passion within a professional environment is a core component for her feeling satisfied with her work. 

Jason Campbell
Chief Information Officer

Jason’s role includes leadership in the development, implementation and support of critical information management and technology initiatives at Gold Leaf Financial Services.

Jason Campbell has a Bachelor of Computer Science and has over 10 years’ experience supporting computing systems. Jason is a member of the Australian Computer Society, the professional association for Information Technology professionals. Jason regularly attends conferences and special interest groups to stay up to date with the latest IT trends. In his position Jason maintains and updates all of our IT and Computer Services including our website enabling the Gold Leaf team to provide quality service to our clients.

Jason regards himself as a bit of a foodie and thus enjoys visiting cafes and restaurants to sample the delicious food. He also enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family and loves to enjoy the outdoors at the beach, bush and rainforest.

Louise Andrew
Paraplanner 

Louise Andrew operates Gold Leaf Financial Services’ paraplanner partner business, The Advice Docs.

She established the business after 8 years’ experience in financial services, learning the industry from a range of roles and perspectives.

She has a Bachelor of Commerce from La Trobe University and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services and is an accredited financial planner with RG146 qualifications through Kaplan.

Justine Malone
Graphic and web designer 

Justine is the sole graphic and website designer for Gold Leaf Financial Services and covers the print and web elements for the business.

With 10 years experience in the design industry Justine has past experience within advertising, boutique, in-house and freelance roles, including work produced for the AFL. 

 

She has a Bachelor of Visual Communication and Design - Honours in Graphic Design from Massey University, Auckland and a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Management from Swinburne University, Melbourne.
